Dear Applicant and Potential Camp Harmony Staff Member,
On behalf of the entire staff of Camp Harmony, I would like to thank you for applying for a position at Camp Harmony. Camp Harmony, located in Western Pennsylvania in Somerset County has been in operation since 1924. Owned and operated as a ministry of the Western PA District Church of the Brethren, the camp serves boys and girls ages pre-K to high school as well as families in a loving, fun environment. We also have a day camp which serves the local community. Our program offers swimming, canoeing, crafts, archery, indoor and outdoor climbing, a high ropes course and much more! Staffers must be willing to live and work in a Christian family environment, which has always been the basis of the camp’s traditions and philosophy. If applying for summer, you must be able to work the entire summer!
Camp is located on 112 acres in the Laurel Highlands. There is a staff lounge with internet access, and a small camp store. Our well balanced nutritional food is outstanding and housing is provided.
Being a residential camp, there will be activities for the staff throughout the summer with many chances for you to learn skills and meet new people. All in all, Camp Harmony is a fantastic place to help children live, learn, grow and have fun!
