 Camp Harmony is located in Western Pennsylvania and is affiliated with the Western Pennsylvania District of the Church of the Brethren. The original property was the summer home of the Swanks of Johnstown for 30 years. It was established in 1924 as a Christian Training School. These "schools" were held as camps for young women and men to provide facilities for spiritual training and Christian growth, camp conferences as well as other activities. Over the years the camp has held to those beliefs and continues to teach and emphasize the Christian way of living. In addition to Summer Camping programs for children and youth Camp Harmony offers year-round Retreat Centers, a high and low elements challenge course which builds self-esteem and teamwork, a climbing tower, swimming pool and water slide. Our goal is to provide a clean, wholesome environment where everyone can enjoy the beauty and peace found in nature. Camp Harmony hosts a Church of the Brethren Heritage Festival and an annual Fall Harvest Gospel Festival over Labor Day weekend. The Camp is situated in the heart of the Laurel Highlands overlooking the Quemahoning Dam in Somerset County and is surrounded by magnificent hardwood forest and pine trees.
