 Team Challenge Course Team Challenge provides opportunities for persons to grow, learn and explore in a natural setting. Activities take place in a wooded section of Camp Harmony that has been developed with a series of challenges. Trained facilitators moderate all activities and challenges. There are two major components of this area. High Ropes Course:  A network of obstacles located between 15 and 40 feet off the ground. Participants begin with a 25 foot climb up a rope ladder, walk across a suspended log that is 30 feet long, cross a cable, swing from rope to rope, and then dismount via a zip line over 400 feet long. The High Ropes Course is designed to build self-esteem, learn the importance of encouraging one another, and being responsible for each other.Low Ropes Course: The obstacles in this course take place at ground level and focus on how to work together. The group is presented with a challenge, and then must find a solution. In this area the group may find a giant spider web, or a portal they must pass through. There are acid filled rivers to cross, a pit of alligators to be avoided and a commitment bridge to traverse. All which take the entire group working together. Participants learn the value of team work! The most successful organizations in the world today are powered by shared vision, motivation, team spirit, leadership and courage. They look beyond conventional means to energize and inspire their people. Participating in Team Challenge leads to increased creativity and problem solving skills. Due to the diversity of the individuals participating, the possibilities are endless. Participants will become more open to new ideas and challenges, and that translates into a world with less violence and more love and compassion for one another. Participants take away a memorable experience that can profoundly improve their abilities to work with others and how they feel about themselves.
