Welcome to Camp! In order for you to have the best experience here at Camp Harmony, there are some things you should bring with you.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY

Our camping program is open to anyone, regardless of race, religion, national origin or physical handicap. If you have a friend who would like to come to camp, please let us know and we will be certain that they receive a camp brochure and an application.

 The following list applies to Summer camps and should help with your packing:

  • Outdoor Clothing (include at least one pair of jeans and a sweatshirt)


  • Linens (including bedding or sleeping bag and pillow), towels, wash cloths, etc.


  • Bible, writing material, flashlight


  • Personal items (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, small duffel bag or bucket to carry items to the bathhouse)


  • Swimming suit or trunks (NO bikinis or two pieces please!)


  • Sturdy shoes for hiking, sneakers for around camp, sandals/flip flops for bath house/pool


  • Sunscreen


  • An extra pillow case or laundry bag for dirty clothing


  • $1-$5 is recommended for purchases at the camp store which sells postage, postcards, ice-cream, journals, T-shirts, etc. It is also recommended that any larger purchases such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, books, etc. be made when campers are accompanied by parents. The store will be open upon arrival and departure.


  • A medical history form must be completed and properly signed for admittance to Camp. Please bring this form to camp with you at registration. WE CAN NOT ADMIT YOU TO CAMP WITHOUT THIS FORM PROPERLY COMPLETED AND SIGNED!  (Download the Medical History Form)
 DO NOT BRING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING TO CAMP:
  • Snacks, radios, firearms, electronic musical instruments, pets, CD players, cell phones or pagers, walkie-talkies, video games (such as "game boys" - etc.), clothing with symbols or sayings inconsistent with the Camp philosophy, etc. THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED BY CAMP STAFF UPON ARRIVAL.

 Camp Picture Orders:

Camp photo's will be taken before departure and will be available at the end of the week. If you requested pictures as part of your registration, it will be indicated on your confirmation slip. If you want to change that order or did not place an order but wish to do so, please mention that during registration. We will be happy to accommodate your choice.


 Camp Policies:

 Additional Things Needed for Certain Camps:

In addition to the above information, the following is a list of items needed for specific camps due to the nature of their activities:

  • Brethren Beliefs Retreat Camp: School Release form you can download in PDF format to be turned into to your school.  (Download the School Release Form)


  • Children's Day At Camp: Bring a STUFFED animal for the Pet Show. (Please do not bring any live animals)


  • Sports Camp: Soccer shine guards (if you have them); sports equipment, ie; baseball gloves, bats, soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, etc. (make sure your name is on everything!)


  • Puppet/Marionette Camp: Your favorite Christian music tapes or CDs and a BLANK cassette tape. Old toys, or stuffed animals that can be "recreated" into puppets or marionettes. You will receive 6 complimentary tickets at registration and additional information regarding performances on July 29 and 30.


  • Performing Arts Camp: One new plain white T-shirt for cast shirt; musical instruments if you wish to play in the band. You will receive 6 complimentary tickets at registration and additional information regarding performances on July 29 and 30. You will also receive a letter the beginning of July concerning costumes, props and other details.


  • Adventure Pioneer Camp: Backpack with frame if you have one and a canteen. A Release for White Water Rafting Form is also REQUIRED.  (Download the White Water Rafting Release Form)


  • Bike Camp: Bicycle (10 speed not required); A luggage rack or side bags would be helpful, but not required; Bicycle safety flag (SAFETY FLAG IS REQUIRED); small bike repair kit, extra tire tube, small pump, water bottle, helmet (HELMET IS REQUIRED). Your bicycle should be inspected prior to arriving at Camp Harmony.  (Download the Bicycle Inspection Form)


  • Kindergarten/1st Grade Day Camps: As this is a day camp, the campers only need to bring a book bag or small knapsack with a pair of jeans and sweatshirt for evening, and to keep their belongings together. There is no need to bring the linens, dirty clothes bag or personal items from the list above.
